Anillo is a one-of-a-kind steel sculpture built around rhythm, balance and motion. Curved bands rise, overlap and open into negative space, giving the work a different composition from every angle.
The orange and yellow finish separates the individual forms while allowing them to work together as one energetic piece. Designed and fabricated by Hercworx in Belchertown, Massachusetts, Anillo demonstrates how an industrial material can feel fluid, expressive and alive.
Community-Funded Public Art
The purchase of Anillo was supported by a grant from the Belchertown Cultural Council, helping place original, locally created public art in the community.
